Rescue FAQs
We are a small, foster-based rescue group made up of experienced and passionate volunteers who are trying to better the lives of the animals entrusted to our care. We are always thankful for additional volunteers, fosters and donations. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We serve mostly the tri-county area of metro Detroit, but do reach out to Michigan and beyond. We will consider out-of-area adoptions to secure the perfect forever home for our harder-to-place animals, including those with special needs.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is similar to that of most other responsible rescues. There's an application, an interview, a meet-and-greet and a home visit as well as reference and vet checks. We encourage foster-to-adopt trial periods.Official adoption status comes after all requirements (including sterilization) have been met.
