Rescue FAQs

Stray Paws From Greece is a non-for-profit organization founded in Toronto, Canada by Anastasia Somers, a Greek-Canadian animal rescuer. Anastasia has been involved with animal rescue for many years in both Greece and Canada. Recently, she started her own organization in an effort to provide the best of care to the abused and neglected Greek stray dogs. Our mission is to save as many neglected or needy dogs as possible from Greece and find forever homes for them in Canada.
We are a Toronto-based dog rescue which serves the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Barrie, Hamilton, and Oshawa.
