Rescue FAQs

Rescue. Not a verb, but a promise. Here at New Dawn Bully Breed Rescue we believe in this promise and know that a rescue doesn't stop once a dog is saved from a shelter or bad environment. All of our dogs are a part of the New Dawn family until the end of their lives here on Earth with us. We are a fairly new founded rescue, although the members of the rescue have been helping dogs for several years. Our goal is to help dogs in our own backyards, in Oregon & Washington and prevent those dogs from being abandoned or euthanized.

Additional adoption info

Our process includes an application and an interview, followed by a home check and reference verification. Our fees are normally $155 for dogs over the age over 2, $300 for 6-12M & $400 for younger puppies. This includes all age appropriate vaccinations, worming, microchip and veterinary care. If the dog is older than 6 months NDR has them altered prior to adoption, otherwise the dog goes home on a contract to s/n when they reach 6 months of age. We do require a signed contract, which states that you (the adopter) will not rehome, neglect or otherwise not properly care for your adopted dogs. You also agree to remain in contact with the rescue and provide photos and other updates whenever asked for the next 6 years MINIMUM.
