Carolina Canine Rescue - OH transport

We do require an adoption application and an adoption contract, which can be found on our website at carolinacaninerescuenc.com Adoption fees vary. You must be at least 20 years of age to apply. You must have a vet reference for current or previous pets and/or have 2 good personal references (if you don't have a vet reference). (PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE RETURNED UNLESS YOUR APPLICATION HAS ALREADY BEEN APPROVED!) All of our available pets are rescued from NC and VA where the county animal shelters euthanize up to 100% of the animals. Many of the southern county shelters still euthanize with the gas chamber and by heart stick. Each of our pets are quarantined for a minimum of 2 weeks before going to their new home to ensure health. Each pet is checked by our veterinarian and receives a certificate of health for travel and is micro-chipped. All pets are given their age appropriate vaccinations and are dewormed. Pets over 6 months of age are sterilized and heartworm checked. Veterinary records accompany each pet. (Our pets may be posted in more than one location in an effort to maximize exposure so we can get these fur babies adopted to make room for those pets waiting to be saved!) If for some reason your adoption isn't working out within the first 2 weeks, our rescue will take the pet back and refund your adoption fee. (We do make every effort to make sure the pet is a good match for your home before leaving the rescue, including speaking with the foster and watching their videos on our YouTube channel CCR923.) All of our pets are in foster homes. We do not have a facility.
