Rescue FAQs

Rescue Paws is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray dogs through its branches in Thailand and Canada. From humble beginnings in 2013 as a simple feeding program, Rescue Paws Thailand officially came into existence during May 2014, when XploreAsia based in Thailand and The Global Work & Travel Co. based in Australia generously made funds available to erect 12 kennels and equip a small clinic with basic equipment. Since then, the organization has grown exponentially into a fully fledged animal relief organization, targeting the stray animal problem in the Hua Hin region of Thailand. Through our Canadian branch, Rescue Paws Canada, we facilitate local adoptions of stray and surrendered dogs and encourage and promote respect for animals, animal care, and animal welfare through comprehensive educational campaigns in local communities and schools. We also foster local and global civic engagement by actively engaging volunteers from all over the world and developing local stakeholder participation.
