Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.

Additional adoption info

To adopt a pet from Hearts & Bones, you must be at least 23 years of age, able to provide personal, professional and vet references (if applicable), consent to an in-person or virtual home visit (dependent on location) and agree to the terms of the adoption application and adoption contract.

Upon approval, you will then sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee of $300. This covers costs of vetting, boarding, and other necessary items for our rescue dogs. Your adoption fee allows us to save another life that is in need.
