Rescue FAQs

We are a group of volunteers who rescue euthanasia-bound shelter dogs from the public shelter in Carlsbad, CA. We exit them the day they are going to be euthanized (killed). We save their lives. We then board the dogs or find them foster homes until they are placed in permanent adoptive homes.

Additional adoption info

We only allow people to adopt our dogs who are going to make them a part of their family. The dog must live inside the home with the family. We only allow short term crating for training purposes only. We conduct a phone interview first and then an in person interview while the potential adopter meets the dog. We require an application, contract, initial home check and one or more follow up home checks. Our fees range from $50 to $100 and this includes everything the dog needs.
