Additional adoption info
Our adoption program is appointment-based which means that appointments are required to view, meet, and/or adopt. Operating by appointment allows us to provide the best possible care for animals and service to you. If you would like to pursue the adoption of an animal in our care, the first step is to complete our adoption application. Adoption applications are processed within 24 hours (same day if received during office hours). Please visit our website at ebhs.org to complete our adoption application. Adoption applications can also be mailed to us or completed in person. We ask that all family members meet the adoptable animal prior to the adoption being approved. If you are adopting a dog and have another dog in your household, we ask that you bring in your dog to meet their potential new companion. “The Right Start Seminar” offered by our organization is included with every dog adoption.
