Rescue FAQs

We are a group of people based in Genesee County, Michigan. Most of us have been in rescue for some time. We all have a passion for animals. We believe every animal should get a fair chance at a happy family. We are a no kill shelter. We do not put a time limit on how long our animals are with us. We understand that some furbabies take a little longer to find their forever family. We are okay with this. Right now, we mostly deal with cats, but hope to expand in the future as our rescue grows. We thank you for showing interest in our babies. We are sure you will love them as much as we do.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in our furbabies. Our adoption process is not complicated. We will have you start with a pre-adopt application. Filling this out will help us help you find the perfect furbaby. Our cat/kitten adoption fee is $150. This includes a combo test for feline leukemia, and FIV, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, treated for parasites and treated for/against fleas.

We adopt to pre-approved adopters only. We reserve the right to refuse any application. You can fill out our pre-adopt application here - https://fosteringfurbabies.com/adoption-application
