Rescue FAQs
Renee’s Rescue has been providing shelter and veterinary care to stray, abandoned, and /or surrendered cats and Kittens in central Ohio since 2009. Renee's Rescues is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and we have been able to network healthy cats and kittens through numerous resources in finding permanent forever homes such as, private adoptions,local pet stores.

Is to provide temporary shelter to stray, abandoned, and/or surrendered cats and kittens until a loving, forever home can be obtained.

Is to educate the public and stop the suffering of unwanted litters through low cost spay/neuter programs.

Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetWe also have pets in Petsmart for adoption that we partner with.
- Submit ApplicationPease send applications to reneesrescues18@gmail.com. A photo of the application can also be sent to 740.364.8248.
- InterviewI require Landlord information if the adopter do not own to verify they are allowed to own a pet. I also do a Vet reference check.
- Meet the Petand the potential adopter
- Approve ApplicationAfter all information is verified, the interview is completed, and the meet & greet goes well.
- Sign Adoption ContractSign the contract and a 2 page terms of agreement Picture is taken of the new cat and the new adopter.
- Pay FeePay the fee and take your new furbaby home!!
