Rescue FAQs

SOS Cats RVA is an all-volunteer Trap, Neuter, and Return organization. We have been helping community cats in and around Central VA since 2003. SOS Cats RVA is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to protect and advocate for community cats through spay/neuter, rescue, adoption, and educational programs. We seek to build a more humane community that embraces compassionate approaches to reducing feline overpopulation, homelessness, and needless suffering.
