Cobb County Animal Services

Cobb County Animal Services is an Open Admission shelter. We serve as a resource for all the Cobb County community. We only accept animals located within Cobb County. This includes unwanted, found, and stray animals. In addition, we impound animals from instances of Animal Cruelty and Abandonment. We are licensed through the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Mission Statement: Guided by unwavering commitment to animal welfare, Cobb County Animal Services proudly serves our community through lifesaving programs, education initiatives, and collaborative partnerships. While ensuring public safety through responsible enforcement, our primary focus remains on fostering a thriving community where all animals find the love and care they deserve. Vision: We envision Cobb County Animal Services as a model shelter that is able to provide for the Five Domains for each animal in its care and eliminate shelter-less companion animals in Cobb County. Nutrition – availability and quality of feed and water. Environment – atmospheric and environmental conditions. Health – presence or absence of disease and injury. Behavior – restriction or expression of behavior. Mental state – subjective feelings and experiences.
