Shelter FAQs

The Medina County SPCA, founded in 1985, is a nonprofit organization supported solely by private donations and grants. We are not a part of any national associations or animal welfare groups. We are committed to sheltering and finding homes for sick, injured, abused and abandoned animals of Medina County. Over the years, we have served thousands of injured, abandoned, abused and neglected animals throughout Medina County. We also focus on pet-owner education and animal abuse prevention. Our Humane Officers employed by the MSPCA are used to investigate and pursue cases of animals in need.
