Rescue FAQs

Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue is a 501c3 charitable and educational organization. We are run by a group of fellow bunny lovers and volunteers, who have joined together with the common goal of helping rescued rabbits find homes.
Most of our rabbits have come from shelters or were caught dumped outside.
Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue (CCRR) is a group of volunteers who serve Contra Costa county, rescuing rabbits with the goal of adopting them out as indoor house rabbits. CCRR holds two adoption events a month to adopt out rabbits, bond rabbits for families wanting a companion for their existing rabbit, provide nail trimming free of charge for those who bring their rabbits to the event and answering questions regarding rabbits.
