Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationPlease complete your adoption application here: http://www.animalwellnessfoundation.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire
- InterviewOnce we have received your application, a team member will contact you to discuss your adoption inquiry and desired pet!
- Meet the PetAn arrangement is made with you to meet the adoptable rescue, followed by home visit. During the visit, we'll discuss tips for rescue pets.
- Approve ApplicationA team member will contact you upon adoption approval and send our adoption contract along.
- Sign Adoption ContractAll adoptions are made official with a signed contract & donation fee.
- Home CheckWe'll work with you to arrange the pick up or drop off of your new furry best friend!
- Take the Pet HomeWe'll work with you to arrange the pick up or drop off of your new furry best friend!

Our adoption process was designed to help ensure that we select the best homes for our animals.
Adoption Fees to Support Our Non-Profit Rescue:
Puppies (under 12 months) - $400
Adult dogs (over 12 months) - $350
Kittens (under 12 months) - $175
2 kittens (because 2 are better than 1 :) - $300
Adult cats (over 12 months) - $150
The adoption donation helps to offset part of the veterinary care and temporary boarding costs of the adopted pet.
Any additional donation is greatly appreciated and will hep us to continue our lifesaving work!
