Adoption steps

  1. Meet the Pet
This is done by visiting during our weekly adoption events. The volunteer will ask some questions to help ensure a good adoption fit.
  2. Interview
An interview is completed. If things go well the adoption might be completed that day. Additional info might be requested
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
Often the pet can be adopted at the end of the second visit, when other potential adopters have completed their visits. Cash or check only

Additional adoption info

A short adoption contract is completed after on site screening is completed of potential adopters. Veterinary records and updates are reviewed. Pets who require additional vetting may have an adoption fee of $150 to help defray vetting costs. ADOPTION HOURS are Friday and Saturday 1-5 at PetSense and Petco.
