Rescue FAQs

The Churchill Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in September 2013 in Las Vegas, NV to fulfill the bucket list of a terminally ill dog by the name of Churchill the Polar Bear.

We have rescued many perfectly adoptable animals from our local shelters, however, we pride ourselves on taking on the more difficult cases, like Churchill. We specialize in major medical such as heart conditions, as well as behavioral cases such as reactivity or aggression. Our founders have extensive backgrounds in animal behavior and are able to provide effective, gentle training and rehabilitation.

We love making new friends! More often than not our adoptive family become close friends. TCF spends a lot of time with potential adopters ensuring they have all the support and tools necessary to making lasting placements.

All of our adoptions start with a two week trial to make sure everyone is settling in properly.

We do extensive testing with new and existing animals to ensure the happiness and safety of all.
