Shelter FAQs

We are an animal control facility, picking up the stray and unwanted animals in our county. Because we house so many animals, we try to place as many in loving, forever home as we can.
We serve Johnson City, Washington County, Tn and welcome adopters from our surrounding counties. Out of state adoptions will probably need to make arrangements for transport after the spay/neuter surgery.

Additional adoption info

Our fees for dogs over 6 months of age is $110. Dogs under 6 months of age are $130. Cats are $70. This covers their adoption fee, spay or neuter, and microchip.
