We are a no-kill shelter in Macomb County. Adopting dogs and cats to loving homes since 1967.
We serve the Macomb County area.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Select an animal to meet with and fill out the Adoption Form online.
  2. Meet the Pet
    1. Schedule an appointment to come to the shelter and meet the pet.
  3. Take the Pet Home
    1. If everything goes well during the meet-n-greet process you will be able to take home your new pet the same day or arrange a 24hr hold.

Additional adoption info

We ask that you view our adoptable animals and then submit an online application prior to coming in.
Once your application is submitted, feel free to stop by anytime during our normal operating hours.
We do request that if you plan to adopt that you bring a copy of your driver’s license or other government issued ID and vaccination records for your current pets. If you rent, please bring a copy of your lease and the pet policy. We may need additional information but one of our adoption assistants will let you know.
