Pets at Our Shelter:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:The Butte Humane Society cares for stray and surrendered animals that are brought to the shelter by Chico Animal Control Officers and by Chico City residents when found in the Chico Urban Area. We will adopt to any loving home in any area.
About Our Shelter:We are a low-kill shelter which means that we only euthanize animals that are too sick for us to treat or are too aggresive towards other animals or humans. We do our best to place specific breeds in rescues so the animal doesn't have to stay at the shelter. We have a devout staff that do their hardest to give every animal a chance. We are really overcrowded and need help finding homes for our wonderful animals.
