We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties: .We serve primarily East and Mid Tenn plus helping as many animals as we can find room for from surrounding states. We adopt both locally and out of state depending on the particular situation and how feasible it is to verify the appropriateness of the adopter and safely getting the animal transported. |
Tennessee Pekingese Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
We provide safe, loving foster care for as many "in-need" Pekingese dogs as we can find room for. They are evaluated both physically and mentally and provided with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm tests. Other medical care is provided as needed.
Come Meet our Pets
Because we foster rather than have a shelter, where and when you can meet a specific animal depends on where he's being fostered. We try to let the foster person arrangement a meeting directly with the potential adopter at a time and place that works for both of them.
Our Adoption Process
We charge an adoption fee to defray some of the costs of medical care for the animals. We require all potential adopters to fill out an application. We also reserve the right to do a home visit before releasing a dog for adoption.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
