Charlotte, NC including surrounding counties. While we prefer our dogs go to local homes we also adopt out of state for the right application.

About Our Rescue Group:

RescuedMe is a small rescue group located in Charlotte. We use a network of foster homes to save as many animals as possible from euthanasia. We provide our dogs with whatever medical attention they require, we feed them the highest quality food, and we start them on obedience and socialization training so that they have the best chance to live a long happy life. We beleive in a wholistic view around pet ownership and require our dogs be placed in homes where their new owners are focused on feeding them the highest quality food, continuing training for life and providing exercise daily. RescuedMe's philosophy is based on loving animals by supplying daily enrichment in the form of good food, exercise and training!

Come Meet our Pets:

Since all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes you can schedule a time to meet anyone of our pets one on one.

Please be aware that we are a 100% volunteer organization. So our foster homes work fulltime jobs, have families and other commitments outside of fostering and screening applicants. We appreciate that you value our time and only inquire about a dog that you are serious about adopting. Our application and interview process is invaluable to determine if you and the dog are a good match. Please be truthful and open with the information asked.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption process is simple.
1. Inquire about a pet
2. fill out an application and submit
3. phone interview
4. meet and greet with the pet of your choice
5. Reference, home and vet checks done
6. Adoption fee paid ($150-$250)
7. Pick up your new wonderful family member

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
