Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We ensure that each cat rescued by SPCR is treated for medical needs, spayed and neutered, and receives a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age.

We do not have a shelter. Cats are housed in one of our foster homes to await their adoption. . Each foster home space that we have available represents one more cat that we can assist. All of our volunteers are important, but without foster homes and adoptions, we couldn't do our work.

Our Adoption Process:

We screen all applicants to ensure they are capable and has the knowledge to provide good loving homes. The final decision on the right to adopt rests with our staff. All adoptions must be approved by one of our adoption co-ordinators. If for any reason you feel that the animal is not right for you after adoption, we will provide a full refund of the adoption fee provided the animal is returned within 24 hours.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
