About Our Rescue Group

We are a small in home puppy and small dog rescue. We specialize in pregnant or nursing momma's and also in abandond puppies. We can and have done it all, there is nothing to big and nothing to small. We have been doing this for over 15 years and just love to help these innocent animals. Puppy Breath rescue is a privately run rescue and we do all rescues in our homes. I have been doing rescue as early as when I was 12 and took an abandond litter of puppies in and raised them by hand until they were 8 weeks old, I have found my place in life with animal rescue. Puppy breath rescue is taking in puppies, dogs and some small animals in need of placement of permanent homes. I help other rescues with overflow, home visits and fostering as well as transporting to our home or other rescues. We are always here to help and we do our best to help.

Come Meet our Pets

You are always welcome to come meet our adoptive pets. We are a very small rescue so the animals are kept in our homes and are treated as our family until they are adopted.Starting in the next couple week we will be at Petco and other adoption events.

Our Adoption Process

We do require and adoption fee and also that you sign a spay/neuter contract with your adoption agreement. We try to keep your cost as low as possible and will continue to do so. Our puppies are always brought up to date on the vaccinations, dewormer and moms are also spayed Heartworm tested, vacinated, rabies, dewormed and anything else they may need. We are going to be starting a new program, We will be spaying and neutering our puppies before they leave here. It's in the works and we are very excited to do this.We do require that you come meet our puppies a couple times so we can get know you and you can get to know us also.

When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
