About Our Rescue Group:

The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, Inc. [LRRF] was founded in November of 2010. We are a group of 100% volunteers that seek to find loving and permanent homes for our rescued dogs that have been surrendered for various reasons, come from a neglectful situation, or have been abandoned at shelters or on the streets through no fault of their own.

We hold Adoptions Events every Sunday (unless otherwise noted on our website) at PETCO from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. (1045 Herndon Avenue, Clovis CA

We also hold other specialty events like Big Hat Days, Clovis Fest, Home and Garden Show and as announced on our website at www.Labrescuefresno.org.

Our Adoption Process:

We require an Application completed and a Home Visit. Our fees are as follows:
Adult Dogs (10 months - 7 years): $250
Puppies (9 months & under) $350
Senior (8 and up) & Special Needs $100
Second Dog (Except Puppies) $150

Adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vet Visit, Up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies and heartworm tested.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
