The Penny Foundation Dog Rescue Society (BC)
About Our Rescue Group
The Penny Foundation believes that every animal deserves a safe and loving home. We match abandoned and homeless dogs, regardless of city, province, country, or continent, with forever homes.
Regardless where a dog comes from, The Penny Foundation believes all dogs are worth saving, their "issues" are trainable, and people really can learn new tricks.
So whether it's from us or another rescue or shelter, Adopt Don't Shop! You can save a life!
Our Adoption Process
We only place dogs in forever homes after...
-Adoption Application -Home Check -Adoption Agreement, which includes if for any reason you are unable to keep the dog, he/she is to be returned to The Penny Foundation only. -Adoption Donation, which is usually $350 per dog, $450 per puppy, & $275 per senior but can vary dog to dog depending on veterinary or transportation costs. -** Any donation or contribution is a gift freely given, not a purchase price for a dog. **
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
