Pets at Our Shelter:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:HOME 'FUR' GOOD is a group of individuals who are animal lovers at heart. We have banded together to make a positive difference in the lives of homeless cats and dogs in Maricopa County. Each year, thousands of unwanted and injured animals are euthanized. Maricopa County is the second largest welfare system in the country- second only to Los Angeles County. More than 100,000 abandoned cats and dogs enter our shelter system each year.
We are located in NE Phoenix and serve Phoenix/Scottsdale and surrounding communities.
About Our Shelter:Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip.

Our Adoption Process:Home Fur Good requires an approved application. We have trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$275 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and come with 30 days of pet health insurance.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.
