My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If the dog (or dogs) you have chosen isn't available for adoption yet, your application will be reviewed when he or she comes available, after medical treatment has been completed. Approximate dates of availability are included in the bios.

If it says a dog isn’t available until a certain time, they really aren’t. There is no way to speed up the process of quarantine/vetting/foster etc.

Halle is a Bichon mix, rescued from a high kill shelter. She was born approximately 2009. When Halle was at the vets office during her quarantine, she had a grand mal seizure. She had two more, was started on anti- seizure medication and takes it twice a day. She is currently in her foster home and has had several seizures. She is seeing a vet that will monitor her medication and seizure disorder. She may need an increase in her medication. Her foster family also has her on a holistic diet. Right now our goal is to help Halle become seizure free!

Halle is super sweet and loves other dogs! She will need to go to a home with other dogs. Because of her seizure disorder, she will need to go to a home where someone is home most of the time. Halle cannot be flown. She will be ready for placement in late May.

She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm medication.

Children in the home must be at least 10 yrs, of age.

Halle is located in IL
