Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Chet! I was rescued from a shelter in IL. I was brought to WI in my foster dad's semi! It was big and noisy, but once in my crate, I settled in and slept for the 4 hour trip home.
I'm a laid back, happy, and friendly guy. I'm about 4 years old (that's what they said at the vet clinic the other day) and weigh 40 lb. My foster mom thinks I'm mostly Beagle, but have a little something extra in my lineage which would explain my size and build.
My favorite place to hang out is on the bench by the front door, usually curled up on my foster dad's “barn" coat.
I like to play fetch, but haven't gotten the "bring it back" thing figured out yet. I am learning how to play with the dogs that came with my foster family. I think I would like either a girl dog as a companion or maybe even being an "only" dog would be nice.
I am learning how to walk on a leash. I'm getting better, but it's really tough when I'd much rather be sniffing everything. Right now I have a fenced yard to run and play in. I've also learned that that is where I have to go potty.
I'm a little unsure about jumping into cars, but once I'm in, I am happy to watch the world go by or just lay down and sleep.
I'm getting better about going into my crate and being a good boy when my foster parents have to leave.
I haven't been around any little kids since coming to my foster home, but so far I've liked all the adults I've met.
If you think I may be the guy you have been looking for, please contact MW BREW and they will put you in touch with my foster family. They can tell you a lot more about me.
