Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Portia is a former puppy mill breeder. It’s really obvious that she WANTS to be around people, just not too close. She’s getting better but it’s been a long road. She usually goes out on a tie-out because chasing her around the yard is a bit much (around the dining room table is bad enough). She doesn’t walk well on a leash (that’s how I get her to the tie-out). She really loves the crate – she’s crated at night and when we’re not home, but often goes in there with the door open to just hang out. She’s a bit on the chunky side so can’t make it to the couches or chairs.
