If the dog (or dogs) you have chosen isn't available for adoption yet, your application will be reviewed when he or she comes available, after medical treatment has been completed. Approximate dates of availability are included in the bios.

If it says a dog isn’t available until a certain time, they really aren’t. There is no way to speed up the process of quarantine/vetting/foster etc.


Emmie was rescued from a shelter this past summer 2013. She was found almost blind with Juvi cataracts, wandering on a railroad track in horrible matted condition. During her exam, we found that she was pregnant. Emmie had one puppy and he has been adopted. It is now her turn. She will have bilateral cataract repair in January.

Emmie is estimated at 2-3 years old and is a Bichon mix. She is a very sweet girl. She gets along great with other dogs or could be your only dog. Emmie is potty trained, spayed and to date on all her shots. She is a real gem.
Emmie will be available for adoption sometime in March.
