Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker is a 4 year old male pitbull/boxer in foster care with Augusta Dog Adoptions. He is good natured, intelligent, loves people, and bond easily. He enjoys cuddling and playing tug-o-war. His favorite game is to lay down on the ground, then pulls himself across the floor to get close to you, and then plant his big head in your lap. If you are looking for a really snuggly dog who just loves to tuck himself up as close as he could possibly get to you, Tucker may be your guy!
TUCKER'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN PAID BY A KIND SPONSOR!!!! He is unpredictable around other dogs and needs to be the only canine in the household.
Tucker was saved from a high-kill pound in Virginia moments before euthanasia. He neutered, up to date on all vaccines and is heart worm negative. Tucker likes other dogs, but sometimes plays too rough and gets protective of his food when other dogs are around (but not with people). Tucker should be fed safely away from other dogs. Tucker would do best with another rough and rowdy dog who thinks rough play is great UNDER SUPERVISION!! In foster care, he stays with a dog who is super-energetic, and loves to have Tucker chase him for hours! Because he doesn't know his own strength, a home with small children is not advised.
A $175.00 Adoption fee helps us care for Tucker and all the other dogs we rescue. Tucker has been neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated and treated for internal and external parasites. To adopt, please fill out an application at www.augustadogadoptions.org.
