Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Kuna, ID
Look deep into his eyes, deeper, deeper - BAM now you are in LOVE! Okay maybe not yet but you will be by the time you get done reading about Max and what an awesome boy he is.
It's hard to believe that Max was left out in the snowy cold to fend for himself but they did and boy was Fuzzy Pawz thrilled to take him into their foster program. In a word? He's amazing!
Max is a great big teddy bear and a lover of people, food, toys, and even your bed. He is happy to snuggle up with you or chase after a ball for you. Max is approximately 3 years old and we are guessing a Lab/Kelpie mix and a great size at about 40 pounds.
He is currently living with two big dogs and a cat. Everyone gets along but every so often Max has to be reminded that the cat is not to be chased. He travels well in the car and does good on a leash.
Max was not crate trained but has since gotten the routine down. He knows "sit" and "lay down" and the word "No". Max is housetrained and will paw at the backdoor to go out - we'd recommend putting a bell in that spot so he has a target and you can hear it the first time! He can be sensitive and just a stern look or a quick "No" will have him hanging his head. But he is super smart and just wants to please, so anything is possible with this boy.
Max is also living with a 10 yr old boy and the two are inseparable (Max seems to prefer male humans). He is happy to share your bed if you let him and makes a great body pillow. We recently had Max around a 1 year old also and he did great, he helped the baby eat it's cookie but was sweet and gentle about it.
This boy is will definitely make someone a great friend. You can see his emotions all over his face, and he craves love and a home to call his own. A home with a human boy to call his own would make his day.
He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.
If you can offer this sweet boy a place by your side and a place in your heart then please go to www.fuzzypawzrescue.com, fill out the pre adoption application and we will contact you about him.
