Mia is a blond 9-year-old Labradoodle who is beautiful, gentle, and very well trained. Her owner must move to an assisted living facility by the end of January that does not allow 90 pound gentle giants like Mia. She is sweet and lovble and knows commands in both English and German. Wow – a bilingual dog! Mia stayed with a foster family for a few days and they raved about her. “She was so sweet with us last night, but you could tell she felt out of her element and was very subdued. Our dog was great with her, smelling and trying a bit to play, but Mia just stayed calm. She is great with all animals, including cats. She is very well trained too.

Mia is spayed, recently groomed, and will be fully vetted prior to adoption. She is presently living in Carteret, NJ and is a Courtesy Posting not an SGRR dog. Interested parties should contact Maria at for details about her adoption and adoption fee.
Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia - Courtesy Posting, a New Canaan Labradoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in New Canaan, or seeking a Labradoodle dog from a breeder in New Canaan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Canaan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Canaan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Canaan paves the way for another one to be saved.
