My name is Jackson!

Boxer Dog for adoption in Staunton, Virginia - Jackson

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a three year old brindle male boxer. He is good with other dogs and would like a home where someone can be with him most of the time!

Coleman is a 2-3 year old bully who just arrived to us from a pound where he was going to be put to sleep. Coleman seems to be a gentle giant. He is good on a leash and is not reactive to other dogs. Coleman is a little shy in new situations and loves the comfort of a good pat on the head.

A $175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases, microchipped and vaccinated for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Staunton Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
