The first time the director of Fuzzy Pawz Rescue met Gus he brought an instant smile to her face, he was all wiggly butt, doggie smiles and loves!
Gus is a 5 year old purebred Lab who is stunningly handsome; he has a super soft coat and has the perfect Lab smile.
This handsome lad is a joy to be around, he is happy and silly; he LOVES people that will give him belly rubs!! He is good with kids that are over 5 and would make a great dog for kids to grow up with. Gus is active and loves to play ball so he will need a family that will walk him every day and give him some mental stimulation. And he is one smart doggie, he knows; sit, speak, shake, down, wait and he comes when called.
Gus loves to ride in the car, especially if you are taking him to the river so he can go swimming! He likes to go for walks; hiking in the foothills is one of his favorite past times; well next to playing ball. He is house trained, crate trained and a perfect gentleman in the house when you aren’t home.
He is also great with other dogs; as a matter of fact Gus has spent most of his life spending a few days a week at Camp Bow Wow Boise! He gets along wonderfully with everyone. Gus has never been around cats so we are unsure how he would do; our guess would be that he should go to a cat free home.
Gus is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
