My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frodo was abandoned in an apartment, along with his brother, Heathcliff. After the tenants had moved out, the landlord found both cats left behind and they were taken to a high-kill local shelter with a 93% euthanasia rate. Amazingly and attesting to how awesome both these boys are, they managed to stay alive at this shelter for over a month! This is unheard of at this particular shelter. The first couple of times they were placed on the euthanasia list they weren't euthanized because of weather and short staffing. However, after that the shelter workers and volunteer shelter walker became attached and kept them off until rescue was able to take them. Frodo is ever so slightly on the shy side until he acclimates and in his foster home, which is virtually a zoo with dogs barking, kids and many cats, this took about 24 hours and then he was all over everyone looking for love. Frodo is unfazed by dogs. The first time he met the dogs in his foster home he was on the floor when they came running in and he didn't even jump up on anything to get away from them. He has the most amazing coloring and markings! His marbled appearance with gold is reminiscent of a Bengal. Frodo is not your average tabby, whatever gene pool he might possess. Frodo is young and as sweet and affectionate as he is handsome. All he needs is a forever home where he can love and be loved, one that will take him with them if they move. How about yours?!
