My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bartleby is an 5 year old beagle/dachshund mix that came to us as a stray. This poor little guy had a broken front leg and when our veterinarian took x rays, she discovered that the leg was broken long ago, but no one had ever bothered to get Bartleby any treatment for it. The leg had healed in a terribly painful position and Bartleby would just cringe whenever he put it on the ground. We had to amputate the leg and now, Bartleby is like a whole new man! This little guy is the happiest he's been in probably years. He gets around just fine now and is finally, pain free. Bartleby is such a little love and just adores everyone he meets. He can't pass anyone by without going over to say hello, with his little tail wiggling with excitement. Bartleby is finally happy, healthy and feeling good......now, all he needs is a home. Bartleby would make a wonderful addition to any loving, caring family that will love him always. Bartleby is well behaved, housebroken, and he doesn't seem to mind other dogs. We've given Bartleby his fresh start in life, now he just needs a great family to share his life with! File#23117 11/20/13
