Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION:
Ginger is good for what ails you!
Ten year old Dachshund Ginger is a very sweet, gentle and affectionate dog; she loves to be petted and has a super soft. Although initially timid, she loves people and wants to be near them whenever they are around.
Along with being sweet, Ginger is a very smart dog; with a little patience she is capable of learning anything that you want to teach her. She is very mellow and loves to cuddle next to you while you are watching TV or reading a book. In the typical dachshund fashion she LOVES to burrow in to your blankets and snuggle with you. Ginger is just the sweetest little girl!
Ginger has learned the dog door; but is house trained without having one and she has figured out doggie steps so she can easily get up on the bed for a cuddle.
This cutie came to Fuzzy Pawz after her human mom passed away; Ginger spent her life as an only dog of a single senior so she does not deal well with chaos. Although we don’t know how she is with kids we would recommend an older family without children. She has done great with her new dog friends but doesn’t spend any time interacting with the other dogs; she while she would be fine in a home with other dogs don’t expect her to become best buddies with one.
Ginger is a calm, quiet, gentle girl who is looking for the same in a family. Can you offer Ginger a cuddly blanket, a warm lap and a loving family for her golden years?
Ginger is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and recently had a dental
