Got a squirrel problem in your yard? Allow me to introduce myself; I am Zola the Squirrel Hunter!
I have made it my job to protect the world from those pesky squirrels (and the occasional bird) that gets into the yard and I’m darn good at it, I will bark at them until they get the clue and leave. I am a 3 year old Welsh Terrier who likes to run, jump and play; I am a loving, playful, high energy dog; my resume speaks for itself. If you have never heard of a Welsh Terrier we were originally bred for hunting fox, rodents and badger; so what a little squirrel is nothing!
Despite my job as a squirrel hunter I am one very well behaved dog and I do have a soft and cuddly side; I love a good hug! I am social with other dogs; I am a regular customer at Escpae the Crate. I don’t really like cats much; they remind me of squirrels and I think they are useless. I do however LOVE people and really like kids; anyone who will give me treats and show me the love is okay in my book.
As good as I am I do get distracted when out on a walk if there is a squirrel too close and will pull a bit; so a sturdy harness and no off leash for me. I do need a sturdy 6’ fence (no chain link) as I have very spring legs.
I think I would enjoy most any home where someone will play with me when I’m not busy policing the yard. I enjoy long walks and a cuddle on the couch; so if you can do those things with me that would be great. I am an incredibly sweet boy with a fantastic personality; I even know some commands (sit, lay down, stay, no, ball and of course squirrel). I like to swim and go for car rides; basically I am the all around perfect companion if you can keep up with me.
