My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PRINCE CHARMING
September 2013, Male, Seal Point Siamese

UPDATE 2/2/14: Prince Charming has turned into a very endearing boy. He warms up quickly to new people especially if you want to play! He "protects" his toys and growls at Miss Prissy if she gets to close once he "captures" it. Miss Prissy and Prince play and run through the house together now for 3-4 hours each day. They love sleeping curled up together. Prince will need sometime to be introduced to other cats if you have them.

Prince Charming and Miss Prissy Pants, came to us after spending more than a month in a cramped little cage together and we have no idea what they went through prior to that. All we know is that it was not good. They were scared to death of everything and anyone. They were really scared of a human standing above them and reaching for them. We are not sure what happened to them but we knew we had to rescue them and work with them.

Prince Charming is a beautiful Ice Blue-Eyed Seal Point Siamese. His pictures just do not do him justice. He loves to play and gets crazy jumping and chasing Da Mouse. He picked up on playing immediately. He also has gotten very affectionate. This little boy has blossomed and continues to unfold into an amazing little guy. He purrs really loud and shows you how much he likes to be petted and loved. He is very trusting despite everything. He can be a little shy with new people but he will warm up really quick to you.

Now that they have discovered how much fun it is to play, they have taken to re-arranging their room on a regular basis. They put their toys in their food and water dishes, turn their nesting box upside down, throw it on the floor and move their blankets around. It’s an exciting new look every morning!

We love to get Prince Charming and Miss Prissy Pants both purring, and when we do it is a true symphony. They have made huge strides since the end of December. However, they will need to go to a quieter home with no real young children or dogs. You also must be patient and willing to give them time to adjust to all the changes and to learn to trust you. They are cuddle bugs, but you must take it slowly with them and not rush them into anything. They need to trust you first and foremost. When they do the rewards are priceless…

Prince Charming and Miss Prissy Pants will be ready to go home after February 13th. We prefer they be adopted together, as they are bonded. That would be the ideal situation for the pair. We feel he would also do well as an only cat with lots of play and interaction or with an easy-going cat to keep him company.

We will get more pictures up in the next few weeks and update their progress. Could you love these two very special purrmongers...forever?
Prince Charming seems to like dry food more then wet and will come to you neutered, tested, micro chipped, vaccinated and ready for all your love. He is, of course, litter box perfect. He will be available after February 13, 2013.

He is fostered in Reno, NV.
