Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our beautiful female boxer, Layla. Named for famous female boxer, Layla Ali, our Layla arrived in less than fighting form. In fact, Layla is the very definition of a dog who truly needed rescue. She was sick from just being without proper food and water. She had little or no hair on her very thin body that allowed us to count every rib. She had a look in her eyes that just said, "help me". And we did. Layla went from a downtrodden dog out on her luck to becoming the beautiful boxer she is supposed to be. We think Layla is possibly a full blooded boxer. We really don't see any other breed in her. Her tail has been docked, but ears are still floppy. She is currently weighing 35 lbs and is on a very healthy diet now. Layla is approx 12 - 18 months old. She has completed her vaccines, rabies, and has been spayed. She is on montly preventatives for heart worms/fleas/ticks/and parasites. She is pretty much at her prize fighting body and weight at this point and ready to head to her new home. Typical boxer with her sweet, gentle personality. Always are wonderful dogs for families. Layla would love to have a playmate if you are looking for a companion for your dog. But don't miss out on her. She is just beautiful and just as adorable on the inside.
