Opal's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Opal's Story...
Opal is such a good girl! She gets along so well with everyone and is house trained. She barks so very little, only when she first goes into her crate for a minute. I wish every foster was as sweet as her.

Opal is about 6 months old and will make a great new family member.

A $175.00 adoption donation helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases, microchipped and vaccinated for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opal, a Staunton Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
