Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hawkeye
Est. DOB: October 27, 2013
Description: DSH Brown Tabby with White * Front Declawed*
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $110.00
Hawkeye will be shy in a brand-new house. We recommend letting him hide for 1 - 2 days. After that, seek him out and quietly pet him, wherever he is. If you do this, he will come out within 1 - 2 days more. He just needs time to get used to you. Once he is comfortable, you will see his true personality. He loves attention. He loves to have his belly rubbed and he comes over to get petted when another kitty is getting attention. He doesn't really meow - he chirps when he wants to talk to you. He flops down in front of you to get your attention. And he has the cutest trick of "standing" on his hind legs, waving his front paws in the air. He is a beautiful, gentle male cat with big green eyes. Once he knows you, he loves you. As with most declawed cats, Hawkeye prefers a very clean litter box with soft litter (soft clumping litter works best for him). Hawkeye was found with his sibling living behind a gas station when he was little. He was adopted when he was a kitten and declawed by his adopters. He was then returned and is now seeking a true forever home with people that will love him.
Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
