My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Lovers just had me genetically tested, and I am an American Bulldog, with American Staffordshire Terrier, and a little Finnish spitz....good genes, huh? I love Cheetos, car rides, long walks, swimming, getting sprayed with the water hose, and couches. When it's cold, I love sleeping under the blankets with you in bed. Going for walks is my most favorite thing. Scratch that, my most favorite thing is being with people and giving love. But my second most favorite thing is going for walks. I really like to splash around in the water too as long as there aren't any big scary waves! I walk great on a leash when I'm wearing a gentle leader as it keeps me from pulling too much. I'm well trained, very affectionate and love to give sloppy kisses. But I'm also pretty strong and can jump 4 to 5 feet in the air which unfortunately intimidates a lot of people so I need an owner who isn't intimidated by that because I'm basically just a love bug. Only thing that I don't like are other dogs but I passed my Growl Class with flying colors and there were lots of dogs in the class with me. . I can't help it, I'm afraid of most dogs although a new dog came to ALOE recently. Her name is Lady and I'm not afraid of her I guess because she is sweet and gentle and doesn't bark and growl at me. I love playing with her and going on walks with her. There aren't many like her though. I would be happiest and the best pet in the world as the only dog in your family. That's not to much to ask is it? Please consider me and give me a chance to be your very protective, loving pet. I'm a real beauty too so you will get lots of compliments on what a pretty dog I am! I've been in rescue with ALOE since 2010, had lots of TLC, training and socialization so it's past time for me to go to my forever home. Please, please won't someone give me a chance! Your first step in adopting me is to fill out an adoption application. All information on the application must be completed including phone numbers and a vet reference (an old one, or a reason why there is not one) before it will be processed. Please contact Margaret at 843-869-3869 for an adoption application, for more information, or to set up a date and time to meet me! Love Rosie
