Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Twin Falls, ID
It was an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini; okay it is really an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie White Polka Dot Chihuahua; but close enough!
Meet little Taffy who weighs in at a whopping 3.3 pounds! This cutie is 11 years old and healthy as can be. She is a tiny little girl who loves to snuggle and sleep with her little face buried in her blanket.
Taffy comes when called, knows how to stay and will go into her crate on command! She is a very sweet and well behaved Chihuahua; she does not appear to have any “little dog syndrome” like so many Chi’s do.
At only 3 pounds a potential adopter will need to know and understand that being this size means there is extra care that needs to be taken with Taffy. She needs to eat 3 – 4 small meals a day to keep her body regulated. She also has to be let outside very frequently (remember how small her bladder is); she will potty on a pee-pee pad if you have them and can’t get her out in time. Her foster home does not have a dog door, but that may be a good option for her if the door is light enough she can push it open.
Taffy loves to be outside when the weather is nice. She gets along great with bigger dogs, and that would be most dogs because she is so little. And her favorite thing is a belly rub; all you have to say is “do you want a belly rub” and she rolls right over. She also enjoys ridding in the car and does so nicely.
This tiny little one will have to go to a NO kids home, adults only please. She does not like little kids, and due to her size she should not live in any kind of chaos. Taffy would do best in a home where someone is around a lot; a retired couple would be perfect.
She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations and recently had a dental.
