Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Braydon & Hayden, beautiful littermates, were rescued together from horrible conditions. They'd love to stay together in a new home too.
Haydon is female 26 pounds and Braydon is male 34 pounds. They were born in March, 2007. Braydon is a Black over Tan and Haydon is more Bluetick appearance
This is a great pair that will provide hours of entertainment, devotion, and love everyday! Braydon and Haydon get along very well. They entertain each other with 'keep away'' and 'tug of war', and wrestling. They do everything together even sleep in the same crate at night. They are crated trained.
There are many benefits to having two dogs that get along well especially if you are away part of the day at work. Just like children, keeping them active keeps them out of trouble. In addition, you won’t feel guilty skipping the walk in cold weather.
These beautiful pups were brought to an adoption kennel very shy of people. They were in the kennel from mid-June to October when HART rescued them. They warm up quickly even though they are still shy of people. They have shown no aggression whatsoever. They have grown up depending on each other, play great together and are very close doing everything together. So we’d like to keep them together.
They are very social with other dogs, playing with their foster family's 2 dogs and are not shy of new dogs. They are great with children after getting over initial shyness. They have not shown any aggressive behavior toward children either. We don’t know how they’d do with cats, but due to their playful nature I think they’d chase them if they would run. They take every opportunity to play with other dogs.
After a play session preferably outside they will lay on your lap and watch TV with you for hours. They both love to be on your lap, but Haydon loves being held all the time. If your lap is not available, they enjoy toys and will chew on toys for hours leaving other items alone.
These dogs need a fenced in yard.
These loving hounds are now house trained, microchipped, neutered and spayed, up to date on all their shots, and are healthy pups. If you’d like to meet these darling pups, please complete an online dog application at www.rescueAhart.org. THANKS.
