Helena's Story...
FHDR welcomes Helena!

Helena is an affectionate, gentle pup about 7 months old and weighs about 28 pounds. She is a love muffin though and through. She adores playing with toys and other dogs and covering people with kisses.

Helena and her mom Hanna were rescued from a high kill shelter in NC. They are both now living in nice foster homes in NJ. Helena has a sweet temperament and she is looking for her furever home. She has a beautiful coat and amazing color eyes!

Helena and her mom would love to be adopted to the same furever home. We will separate if we find a wonderful furever home for her. you have a furever home for this pup, please email us at FureverHomeDogRescue@att.net for an adoption application. www.fhdr.petfinder.com

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day.

The breed this pet is listed as is our best guess as we have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here from NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Helena, a Randolph Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever for sale in Randolph, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
