My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Kenny he is GREAT dog! A really great dog! Kenny is a 15 inch tri-colored beagle about 30lbs and approximately one year old.

Kenny is house-broken, which is such a nice bonus. He really loves to cuddle and play with the kids and loves to look out the window waiting for them when they are not home. Kenny loves to run in the snow, in the house, anywhere really.

At night he sleeps with the kids but he will stay in his crate if we desire. He doesn't go in voluntarily but we are working on that. He is learning “sit” and some other basic commands but he definitely has never had any formal training. Kenny gets along well with the other dogs in our home. He is very gentle with the kids and everyone he meets.

He does have puppy energy so I would recommend a family that will play with him frequently or take him for a walk once a day. He loves to lie around as well he is a beagle after all. He is also very quiet; he rarely barks and I have heard him howl once. So now let’s talk about his only flaw: he is quick and can scoot out a door really quick. You have to watch doors or he will shoot right out of it. That is a typical beagle trait so MW BREW can give you lots of advice on how to handle that behavior. We only go out the service door and make sure the interior door is shut or we put him in his crate before answering the door.
