Someone dumped me and my brother at an abandoned house. I don't know why, because we're both very nice dogs. My brother has gone to a new home, so now it's my turn!! I am a dog on a mission! I'm a playful boy with a strong personality. I like hanging out with people and love having my head and belly rubbed. I am lovable and friendly and give kisses too, when I'm not busy seeing what everyone else is doing! My foster home has a cat, but we are separated by a gate because I like to play too rough for the cat and I don't know my own strength sometimes. It's probably best if I go to a home without cats. I like other dogs as long as they like me! I find other dogs very interesting and I always want to sniff them and see what they're doing. I was evaluated by The Learning Dog, and they said that I will do well with neutral dogs. I do like having playmates, but I'll be ok by myself as long as my people play with me and really make me part of the family! I have been around children at adoption events, and I liked them. I really like interaction and like to be where my people are. I can scale a regular sized gate, so I need a tall gate. I do ok on my leash. I'm still working on that, and I will get better as I become more confident. I am pretty well crate trained and do pretty well with my potty habits. I don't yet know how to tell you I need to go out, so it's best to let me out every couple hours after I've eaten. I love running outside when I'm in a fenced in area. I really like chewing on bones and throwing around soft toys. I don't like to share bones when I am chewing on them, and I sometimes try to steal tasty toys from other dogs. I also like running around with something in my mouth. I love playing fetch, and chasing birds as they fly overhead! When I do sit still, I don't mind sharing some quality loving with my people. I'm a happy, lovable pup. Even though I'm a pretty brave boy at home, I do get unsure and scared in unfamiliar situations, but it does not make me aggressive at all, just reserved and shy. I adjust ok with the help of friendly voices and some reassurance. I like to be close to someone I love when I'm scared. When I'm comfortable, I am outgoing and silly!
